Brew Guide
Brewing the Perfect Cup
Great coffee starts with the right preparation. Follow these guidelines to get the most from every roast.
Coffee to Water Ratio
We recommend 2 tablespoons of ground coffee for every 6 oz of water.
Adjust slightly to your preferred strength.
For best results with most drip coffee makers, brew at least 12 oz of water with ¼ cup of ground coffee.
Very small batches, like a single 6 oz brew, may not extract as evenly and can taste weaker or less balanced.
Always follow your brewer’s minimum fill line when available.
Water Temperature
Brew with clean, filtered, or bottled water between 195°F – 205°F for optimal extraction.
Grind Matters
- Coarse: French Press
- Medium: Drip
- Fine: Pour Over / Espresso
Fresh is Best
Always use fresh, filtered water and grind your beans just before brewing whenever possible.
